Testimonials
I had the pleasure of participating in the EU-Canada Business Summit in 2022 on behalf of Opportunities New Brunswick. I was impressed by how the Canada-Europe Economic Chamber was able to bring together a wide array of public and private sector decision-makers from Canadian and European markets. By participating in this event, ONB strengthened and developed new relationships with partners, potential buyers, and new organizations within the EU and Canada. Attending the event gave us the opportunity to gain better knowledge of the opportunities in the EU market and learn more about the importance of the relationship between Canadian and EU companies.
The EU-Canada Business Summit took me completely by surprise. The true campaigners for a better and newer future that respects our planet's constraints are in the corporate world. A new universe has opened up for me more than ever before, owing to this extremely well-organized business summit. From passionate individuals, such as a lady who invented a device to combat microplastics, to an engineer who is building small modular power plants. These are the things that have stayed with me, as well as how AI can ensure we save 40% on our energy bills, promising projects that will help both Canada and Europe. I had no clue there were so many genuine idealists in business. Sam Ayoub, you boosted everyone's sense of entrepreneurship with a one-of-a-kind networking event that put Canada and Europe on the map. Canada is now more than ever an ally of Europe. I'd love for them to become a candidate member of the European Union; if there's one thing I've learned, it's that thinking beyond the box creates great synergies in which today's world and tomorrow's world reinforce each other. Canada, you now have one more supporter.
I had the pleasure to participate in the EU-Canada Business Summit 2022, which was an excellent forum for exchanging ideas and networking among Canadian institutions, EU institutions and private companies in order to strengthen the business links and opportunities going forward between Canada and the EU. Out of all the very interesting panels held, I had the opportunity to participate in the one related to Energy Security, in which one of the main takeaways was that geopolitics has changed and one of the main challenges is to ensure stable and reliable energy supplies; to that, there are real opportunities between Canada and the EU to mutually collaborate.
I want to congratulate the Canada-Europe Economic Chamber for its awesome job to make this forum to happen.
The November summit was awesome. I am impressed with the crowd that you managed to get together. The venue was great too. Brussels has class, although it is often hidden for those who don’t know the city.
