Free webinar – How Canada is positioned in the new EU-UK trade reality?
Description
UK and Canada have secured a trade deal that will roll over the terms of an existing agreement between the EU and Canada when the Brexit transition period ends on January 1st 2021.
The agreement paves the way for negotiations to begin in 2021 on a new tailor-made UK-Canada trade deal, with the potential to go further in areas like digital trade, the environment and women’s economic empowerment.
The agreement also guarantees tariff-free access between Canada and the UK. It also ensures that both territories can continue to work towards recognising each other’s qualifications in areas including accountancy, architecture and law.
